As above, so below. Ancient tradition speaks of these words as being engraved on the Emerald Tablet of the "Thrice-greatest" sage, king and philosopher, Hermea Trismegistus By these words is meant that whatever occurs in the universe, the macrocosm, also occurs in humanity, the microcosm. This concept implies that the human body is a symbolic representation of a Greater Entity: that by understanding the subtle forces within, we may come to know the nature of the universe, and in so doing we can begin to comprehend. if not the character, at least the essence of Deity Itself.
Wheels of Light explores those "subtle energies" within. This multi-volume work represents the most comprehensive description of the subtle energy or chakra system ever written. Each of the seven primary chakras is in fact a "wheel of light", a spinning electromagnetic field of color. Together these fields generate the greater auric field. From antiquity there have been various descriptions of this field of energy or light which emanates from the physical body. But it has only been recently that science has confirmed the existence of the aura and of the subtle "energies" which generate it.
Volume One explores the basic nature of all the chakras and takes an in-depth look at the first. The vision is as ancient as the esoteric mystery schools of antiquity and as contemporary as the most modern scientific laboratories. The Journey is one of wonder and discovery, the promise of healthier and more fulfilling lives far us all and the hope of a brighter future for the planet.
